Declaration of Metal Conflict-Free

"Conflict Minerals" refers to tin (SN), tantalum (TA), tungsten (W), gold (AU) and other minerals, which origin from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and its neighboring countries. Sales of the Conflict Minerals may provide financial support for the local armed conflict. O-Net has placed heavy emphasis in this regard and taken appropriate action to address this issue. O-Net had therefore issued a statement to its suppliers to conduct investigation of their supply chains in relation to the Conflict Minerals and terminate all their related business purchases of the Conflict Minerals since 2011. O-Net had further issued a public announcement to prohibit use of the Conflict Minerals, and also requested its suppliers and their related sub-suppliers to stop purchasing the Conflict Minerals.

O-Net would annually adopt "The EICC-GeSI Conflict Minerals reporting template", which is in accordance with "IPC-1755", to perform investigation and verification with its suppliers (i.e. with a response rate of 85% and above) as requested by the latest requirements of EICC and GeSI.
